In regular contact with Ian McKeown, thanks for your concern though. ;)

And you know this how? Tap on their phones?? Do they cc you on email?
All part of the open and honest communication with the members at Alberton is it?

Heard it with my own ears. No, I'm not a spy. No, they haven't got it.
Yes, that's exactly right.

( I hope I answered them all for you ).

Head of High Performance, Ian McKeown, made mention during his presentation of the clubs ongoing relationship with Darren Burgess at the Members Convention Saturday week ago. Both Burgess and McKeown are of the belief that sharing high performance information, philosophies and techniques is the best way to stay at the forefront of worlds best practice, which we are.

Good, innit? :D

Very clever man, was head hunted by EPL, NFL and NBA franchises before he joined Port Adelaide and the offer to return to the EPL with Arsenal was, in Hinkley's words "Impossible to refuse".

Polec the only one of concern and his was suffered in a collision, not just in motion, Wingard, Motlop, Marshall and Thomas all very minor and more management than "pings".

Collision?
Polec hasn’t felt a body in 7 years so how’d he do it?

It's all about positioning at the stoppage ;)

That's right, you don't want outside ball carriers like Polec doing the heavy lifting, he's just not built for it.

So with Round 1 a month away and Polec 50/50 to play, here is my round 1 side at the moment

Rd 1
F: Wingard, Dixon, Watts
HF: Rockliff, Marshall, Boak (C)
C: Motlop, Wines, Ebert
HB: Pittard, Clurey, Hartlett
FB: Hombsch, Jonas, DBJ
R: Ryder, R.Gray , SPP
INT: Westhoff, S. Gray, Amon, Houston

EMG: Bonner, Howard, McKenzie,

From Elimination Team:
Out: Bonner, Howard, Polec (INJ), Neade, Impey
INL Watts, Rockliff, Motlop, Jonas, Hombsch

Bonner unlucky but not sure where he fits. Maybe for DBJ, but see DBJ more as a lock-down defender compared to Houston & Bonner. Does Bonner start in front of Houston?
Much better side than our finals team, plenty of depth below. Think they will start with Dixon, Marshall, Watts & Westhoff and we may see one come out of the side after the first couple of weeks and another small injected into the side. Possibly Westhoff out to begin with, R. Gray up forward, Ebert to the middle and Amon & Bonner to the wing/bench? Fun times ahead

Looks a bit tall down forward, and not much in the way of pressure players in the forward half, which is where the game is going.

reckon robbie gray will play more forward than midfield and could do that role

Could be correct. Take Westhoff out and do some shuffling around and it could look like this.

Rd 1
F: Wingard, Dixon, R. Gray
HF: Rockliff, Marshall, Boak (C)
C: Motlop, Wines, Amon
HB: Pittard, Clurey, Hartlett
FB: Hombsch, Jonas, DBJ
R: Ryder, Ebert, SPP
INT: Watts, S. Gray, Bonner, Houston

Polec straight swap for Amon or Bonner/Houston when fit

EMG: Westhoff, Howard, McKenzie,
