NUMBER 35 IS 36 ROBERT HARVEY

Talk on the national game

Re: NUMBER 35 IS 36 ROBERT HARVEY

The guy busts his a55 66 and has done so for 20 seasons. Only one side wins the flag every year. Is Aaron Keating better than Robert Harvey? Is Toby Thurstans better than Tony Lockett? So a guy comes along and earns respect for the way about his business and all you can say after 20 seasons is 'thanks for nothing'.

Piss weak.

It's typical for the STK supporter to lavish praise on INDIVIDUALS and not its great
premiership teams. I'd rather talk about flags, but that makes me a minority amongst
the hopelessly misty-eyed Saints supporter.
Sorry, bit I've had a f%$^*@# gutful of this club perpetually screwing up whilst its
brain-dead supporters crap on about how great this or that player was/is.
PREMIERSHIPS.
Bottom line.
Don't bother me about 'greatness' unless you've won one.

So how do you think Harvey could have won a Premiership,on his own?

If all St's players ran half as hard as Harvey, you may just have won one in the last 10 years.I never thought I would get odds of 20,000,000/1 but you Sir have done it.

20million people in Australia, and you would be the only one with such an opinion.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Well you certainly stand by what you believe but honestly, why bother? You must get no joy whatsoever out of football with your perplexing attitude. Personally, I can't think of an opposition player I admire more.

I suppose having an incurable disease does that.
I'd like to think my football club was capable of being succesful at least once in my, now somewhat limited, lifetime.
My apologies for being a selfish prick.
