Marion haven't won a game for 3 years remember, including being thumped by OSB

The word is the Rams are giving the salary cap a huge nudge and Lonsdale are paying about a third of their player budget from last year. A handful of players that were on big $$ have left. I guess they had to pay big money to attract average players when they got pumped by 25 goals each week. Marion might be underestimated a bit.

Marion have never been short of a $ and have never been afraid of spending it, hasn't given them success though.

Morell tries to play it down, but don't let him lull you into a false sense of security.
They take things very seriously at MP, so much so that if you happen to warm up at the wrong end of the ground, you can expect a 4 page rant on here by 10am Monday morning.

It'll be fairly soon I'd say. There's a fair chance that not only will the fixture change though -but so may a couple of the clubs in it.

Hmmm yeah I can see that. Gonna be very interesting what the outcome will be.

On another note. I am looking forward to when we play St Paul's @ St Paul's as it'll be good to have a kick on a old stomping ground of mine.

Anyone confirm or deny that Mitchell park and flinders uni are looking at a merger due to lack of numbers?

If North Pines fall over, and MP/Flinders Uni merge, will the league continue with an 8 team division? Will C/D grade squads come up?

Will a D6 club be forced to drop to D7 and run 2x 9 team divs with a bye? I've heard a whisper that Greenacres have until end of Feb to register a certain number of players or they may be in the gun.
