With Adam we got bumped up from 200GB to 500GB when we moved house, and then up to Unlimited when they changed to iiNet.

Our internet is great and well priced, got stitched on the mobiles.

Im with Optus for my mobile. Just ordered a Samsung S8, 20GB data, free streaming of Netflix, Spotify, etc for $59/month.

Much better than the 1GB data I get with my S7 on a $64/month plan. My plan runs out this month.

We get 35GB shared data with our phones when we use 6 or 7 on a high month, 1200GB for the house internet, pretty much all the foxtel channels and get slugged $430 per month, I think we can alter it without breaking contract fees in June.

Had to go a BYO phone deal to start with to avoid early termination fees, still copped a $600 bill for one of them merging our accounts. We're smarter for it now.

Two teenage boys permanently, one teenage girl most of the time and then two that are 18 and 21 from time to time.

Quite often have up to 9 or 10 on the weekend.

During the school holidays we can end up with a heap of nephews all playing the xbox at the same time, the missus and I usually have youtube playing on the TV most of the time but we don't really get close to running out, the price difference was minimal for going smaller but scary if we exceeded it.

Must admit Optus does seem good value for mobile, I have 2 sims, one with Woolworths (which uses Telsras coverage) and one with Optus basically to get the EPL.
Optus costs me $18.75pm including 5gb, unlimited calls and texts and the EPL and cricket.
BUT if you ever need customer service they're awful, took me about 4 calls, 2 sesssions onlune and a couple of trips to a shop before I stopped getting overcharged.
Optus, great value mobile, shithouse internet and shithouse customer service.

Found the same with Optus, I probably get overcharged with Telstra but can't knock their service, I've also learnt to just make the trip to a Telstra shop for any needs so you can walk away with what you agreed to in writing.

I have my wife signed up with boost mobile. $30 for unlimited calls and 4 gig of data, or $40 for 8 gig.

but most importantly it works on telstra 4g network which is the best for country coverage.

For myself I buy telstra byo postpaid, $50 for 10 gig but i get the footy and apple music too. (borrow a mate's optus account for epl)

When we got together we had a few pissy accounts that we don't pay off aggressively but have seen at you can get 2% transfers from other cards, basically trying to only have one account at a low interest to wipe out the dead money quicker.

Yeah Optus''s's's's customer service is pretty shitty. But thankfully I haven't needed them except for when I upgrade my phone. I think it took about 40 mins on Online Chat to sort it out.

Also had to threaten leaving them if they kept offering me other shit during the convo.

But you can't knock them once you have the phone. I also get unlimited calls and texts. So really I dont need to worry about monitoring any usage at all.

These can be helpful if you transfer the debt, then pay it off and DO NOT use the card, thats what the institutions want you to do. They are great deals if you can be disciplined and can help you get ahead.

Thank you, yeah I had a look yesterday, there was one for a 30 month period that looked appealing, also came with a 55 day interest free period for new purchases.

The money we waste on interest here and there es under the radar and is annoying, there's not a lot hanging about but could do with some tidying up.
