Great to see some awesome ovals being used to showcase SA, hopefully we do well, can see us finishing mid-table though, pound for pound we are the 3rd best team but anything can happen.

Best of luck to her, mate!

Cheers, I'll post her progress if she does well LOL.

A week away with the family at Yorkes is imminent. Crabbing, squidding, beach cricket, a few pubs here & there - can’t wait.
Might have to get PatawalongaPirate to put my bins out before he heads up...

Will do, she picked up 3/17 off 8 overs on the weekend playing A Grade district, good timing to be hitting the good ares, 2 bowled and an LBW.

Rub it in, I've got another trip to Mildura for a wedding, leave 5am Saturday morning, hopefully leave there at the same time Sunday morning, highly doubt it though.

Awesome, Yorkes truly is one of the world's best kept secrets, surprises me how many Adelaidians have never been there.

If I don't get to the YP at least twice a year I feel like I've let myself down.

I’m the same.
With it being so close you can head over Friday arvo and be back Sunday arvo and it still makes for a good weekend.

We tend to go over to North Shore at Wallaroo most times.

My favourite place ever. Haven't been for way too long.

I'm hoping the friends and family take me there for my 30th in March.

I've been dropping hints.

I was spoilt as a kid, spent most weekends all over YP or up the river with trips to other parts of the state thrown in randomly.
Really over it, and prefer beaches with no seaweed. The houseboat trip I did a couple of years ago being the exception.
I know I'm a minority but much prefer OS or Queensland.

Don't even feel like another holiday anywhere ATM for the first time in my life as life in general is like a holiday for me, maybe Airlie Beach or the Whitsundays in May.

im a bit of a culture and history nut so i love travelling to different parts of the world to try and learn about the history, etc. And the different natural scenery.

Having said that, those types of overseas holidays are rarely relaxing, so i have just as good memories of the recent long weekend at port hughes where i just relaxed the whole time.

I'm the opposite, sites, culture, history, etc does nothing for me. I need some inspiration for my next holiday as I have none atm. Not sure where it's going to come from either. I need new planets to explore.

Been on holidays since Xmas, go back on the 29th.
Wife booked a QLD trip with 2 of the kids mid last year, I couldn't commit due to work.
Eldest lad is 21, needs no looking after, I've been doing the swimming sessions 7 times a week for my daughter while the wife works, so basically just killing time doing odd jobs around home for a couple of weeks.
We have an old miners cottage at Moonta where the Tinnie is kept etc.
Wife and 2 kids leave on Monday morning for 11 nights in QLD.
I'm outta here as soon as I've dropped them off, that I am looking forward to.
