Got a bottle of Dimple scotch whiskey from First Choice for $39.
BARGAIN!

Use to drink this many years ago so thought I’d try it again.

A little on the sweeter side but still very good.

Had to play deso a couple of BBQ's recently so I used the Woolies receipt to try some Iron Jack's to take, not a bad substitute for a beer I must say.

$8,90 at Adelaide Oval

It cant be too good as people prefer XXXX Gold at Adelaide Oval 1000 times over. I probably saw 3 iron jacks go through the tills yesterday.

Iron jack is absolute pig swill.

Rather drink red tins.

Wifey got me a booze bud advent calendar. 25 different beers every day until Christmas Day. Had a few decent ones so far

People probably go with what they know or think that Iron Jack's are a light strength, I doubt that I'd gamble $8.90 on a beer I've never tried, a 6 pack for $12 is worth it though.

I'm not sure, I had both yesterday and know which one I prefer.

Surely there is only one proper way to drink that beer, and that would be to skoll it.

None of these are my poison of choice.

Belated Birthday Gift from the inlaws.... a mixed 6 pack of Prancing Pony.

Started with the Sunshine Ale. It was ok.

Then had the Amber Ale..... ******* Awful.

Onto the Hopwork Orange, best of a bad bunch.

As noted some time ago, I am the king of tasteless beers. Each to their own, but I need a Corona now to wash my mouth out!

I thought they were all ok drinks.
The Hopwork Orange I felt didnt have that much of an orange tang.
Amber ale is good.
Sunshine Ale is a good summer session beer....but not at what they charge

Hopefully it's sold with a complementary jacket...

I tried the Coopers summer session on the weekend but it’s terrible.
Really fruity tasting.
Didn’t like it.
