And Marion might give Goodwood a run. But you'd expect most if not all of the higher grade teams to progress
Same night then as Grade Cricket Quarter Finals, may affect a few teams with their team selections!

Interesting! Prospect look to have made it so you'd think Miller won't be available for Modbury. If East Torrens make it that rules Cranmer out. Have the Northern Dist. boys been playing for Pooraka? Don't have time to look

Nah, will hit 40 by noon, then cool off and be a pleasant 31 by 4pm. Will be one of those days where the lower grades aren't playing despite it being nice conditions!

So, does that mean a one dayer next week or do Brighton forfeit the game?

Not sure,
All I know is one team had 11 players at 1pm, the other team had 8.
And apprantly forfeit is not an option.

Spare Oval at Brighton nowhere near playable. Umpires declared it unfit for play.

I would think standard wash out procedures for week 1 of a game would be applied....unless there are accusations of something untoward?

Staves off an outright loss if it was ever on the cards?
Dodgey?

I wouldn't have thought so, not sure how no one noticed water bubbling out the ground until 12.10pm Saturday. Direct line between curators shed and pitch. Looked like it had been bubbling out for at least 24 hours.
