The BBC has turned to shit!
Always has been IMHO, never dug the India-on-steroids theme nonsense. Much like the golf and jungle-themed clusterf*ck that the Kent Town turned into (same owners, IIRC).
I love the food at the Kent Town, the jungle theme is unique but I doubt at the food prices I'd ever take the kids who would be more likely to enjoy the novelty.

Never eaten in the restaurant at the Kent Town, but the bar menu upstairs in the beer garden is top notch.

Had the brother-out-laws engagement party at the then golf themed joint. I was blotto like Otto and peeled off about a dozen ripping one-woods one after another and had a couple of randoms buy me some beers after I told them I was on the tour and gave them some pointers on their swings.

The toilet is cool at the BBC, you might get stage fright when the lion roars or the monkeys laugh though.

Went to sushi planet at modbury last night. I had the sashimi deluxe plate which had salmon tuna scallops and kingfish. Wifey had mixed tempura plate, and we had a karaage chicken to share. All of it was very good, though the tempura batter was maybe slightly too thick so it tasted a bit fatty by the end. With a beer and lemon lime and butters it came to about $60 Overall would definitely recommend. 7.5/10

Maybe that's why things tasted fatty.

Cheers for the review Benny. This place is on my list to try after dining at Kintaro a few times.
Karaage chicken is amazing!

Hahaha, exactly what I said to my mates when we went to Kintaro.

I must say, I noticed that too, we were on a work function both times with free piss so that off-set the delay.
