Would it be a draft if the Adelaide media didn't call Adelaide's first pick "a steal"?

Dont think it was just the Adelaide media, many people from outside Adelaide were suprised he wasnt selected earlier. Blinkered much and a poor troll attempt.

Nobody can.
Can't wait to find out if he's better than Dean Gore.

Maybe we should all jump in early and nickname him 'The Future''?

Im the first to put the boot into the crows cos i cant stand them or most of their supporters but they got an absolute gun in Fogarty. The lad is a beast and can play. Watched him in a 18's State trial this year and he was that far ahead of the other players in the SA Squad is wasnt funny. He wouldv gone top5 if not for injuries and poor form. The Crows definietly got a beauty there. Plus he atleast cant put the i want to go home excuse when he wants to leave because he hates the culture of the crows.

Adelaide has very deliberately used their last rookie selection on a top up player to show others contemplating the same idea that an AFL chance is enhanced. This is to get better top up players.

No conspiracy, theory or otherwise. They did indeed like his effort and ability. I am saying that they have used the strategy of their best top up to a rookie spot is something Adelaide decided on some time back. Time will tell but I think it will pay off for them. Murphy came over from Melbourne for the spot as a top up. Its a carrot.
Its not a criticism.

I know there was no criticism there DOC I doubt any kids would leave another state to play in our local league just in case they get drafted.

Didn’t they use their last pick on Jackson Edwards?
