Head out, not a surprise, a lot of edges and balls played in the air in his short stay
I'm gonna break my rusty cage and run

Redbacks 4- 292, Weatherald on 128 and Lehmann on 17.

Need 33 to win.

Edging closer.

Jake Weatherald on his debut at the WACA ground made
0 [1]
0[8]
Jake Weatherald this match made
152[160]
143[281]

He is brilliant to watch the way he bats
His attacking nature might draw some criticisms when he fails
Bit like David Warner you take the very good with the inevitable bad
Hope he keeps batting the same way
Jakes style of batting brings crowds to the live feeds

Anyone would think WHUFC is paying him to do it!

Ferguson is and always has been a horrific runner between wickets.

Shaun Marsh to return?

JL thinks SMarsh and Bancroft are right up Renshaw's clacker....

SMarsh might get back in.

Any changes for Thursday?

Worrall might be under the pump if Zampa returns. Didn't bowl that well in Perth.

I see that Cam Valente is in as cover for Sayers but I suspect if Sayers misses selection in the first test that he will be released for Shield cricket. Can see us going with Sayers, Mennie, Richardson and Zampa.

Sayers out. Valente into squad. Strange scheduling having the shield game start the same day as the test. If the shield game had started Friday I'd suggest Sayers would've been released.
Go you Redbacks!

After three shield games, wouldn't be surprised if Sayers is given the game off to work on his staminade mixing skills like Bird, Starc, Hazelwood and Cummins were last game.

I'm tipping he'll play in Adelaide and Cummins will be rested.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
