Sorry guys

Turns out it was my brothers doing - apparently the beer is seasonal so he ordered some and sent it to my place, in my name and didn't tell me.

He works in Darwin and comes home once a month.

Problem solvered.

Send her my condolences.

We've got several casual staff here and some of the malarkey they come up with as excuses are stunning. One got caught in traffic on the way in one morning, figured he wasn't going to get here by start time so just got out of the traffic and went home. He was less than 5 minutes from work, with about 10 minutes until he started.

We've got one who regularly does a no show on a Friday, today being one of them. It's a pity as she's a top level worker when she's here, that's why we tolerate it and she somehow manages to get by on 4 days of mediocre wages most weeks. Having said that I think she might have pushed the manager to tipping point today.

Used to play Rugby League with a kiwi bloke who was quite frankly a machine.. he would go walk about on his job regularly and only show up 3-4 days a week instead of the 5-6 he was supposed to, but he never got the sack because in the words of his boss "He does the work of 3 blokes when he does show up". :lol:
