I've heard OTH are meeting with the PDCA exec this week to present a case to move down from Grade 1
I don't know how well that will go now the season has started.
You'd think the Units would be the first ones asked back up, but they lost on the weekend, I don't think Eastern Park would be asked on pure principle, NEK to get the Golden ticket???
Nevertheless, it wont happen, they will be made to tough it out like many before them.
Is it really much different to the chopping and changing that's occurred in Grade 3, 4, 5 and 6 over the past week?
I'm not sure anyone in Grade 2 is in a better position to be more competitive in Grade 1 either except maybe NEK but they're only a game into the association so need to earn their stripes first.
The concern needs to be whether it will have an adverse affect on the club long term I guess?

The Billiegoats have always bee a bit all over the place and it seems this season has a hint of 14/15 about it again.
Having said that, they did manage to put 208 on the board Saturday so it's hardly a crisis, I wonder who they have to come back in to the side,m no Fanta, Hanisch, Smith or Neil for round 1, are they suiting up again?
I tell you what, it's great to see Andrew Lydeamore take the field in our A Grade this weekend.
He's in his first year of coaching out at NEK, and he's working really hard around the place.
Many folks in local cricketing circles would know he's been battling with Multiple Sclerosis for four years, so to be able to get on the park is one hell of an achievement.
No doubt he'd be as toey as a kid on Christmas morning!
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,
The world's worst murderers were those who saw the light.

Was a good game though, Smiffies probably deserved the win - Figallo had a bit of luck from memory as well.
A bit? Keyrock had him plumb AF on zero!!!!
I still let Tez know about it, he felt like a dickhead afterwards, was the only time Kenty ever looked like an all-rounder, he was hitting them sweetly, always found ways to get out.
