If she has had the operation taken all the hormones and has been tested to be within female limits for testosterone, play on in my book.
That is probably the most reasoned response you're going to get on this topic. That works for me.
See, now I just don't know. I'm a bit like Benny. Very mixed feelings on this.
The fact Jason Ball was on the panel that made the decision gives me comfort about the integrity of the decision-making and that the right decision was made - at this point. I suspect there is a fair bit of work to be done in this area before transgender women will be allowed to compete in AFLW.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

Given the person involved is still transitioning I think the AFL has made the right decision here.

Should never be raised again IMO, two years ago this chick was a bloke representing Australia in a different sport.
I'm all for equality and I don't care what sexual preferences anyone has but perhaps they should start looking at sports as men's, women's and other.

There was actually a player this year for our womens side who was apparently a transgender - I don't know if it's true or just people making crap up.. definitely looks "man like".
A few of our women players are leaving next year because they said they didn't feel comfortable with her being in the side, getting changed in front of her etc. but none the less everyone accepted him/her and tolerated the situation if that makes sense lol.
As accepting and tolerant as society may have become, these are still quite confronting situations to most people and will take a lot of getting used to.

Difference there was the said person was a first class "bench warmer".

It is not an even playing field.
Other? Yeah I’m sure that’ll get passed at their next meeting.
Do they call it OAFL?
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

or Crows/Carlton know what pick they will get from Brisbane which is being used as bargaining power? I think it will end up being 12 & 16 for Gibbs & 2nd round 2018

Agreed. In the future, who knows, she might get there, but right now it's clearly too early in that process.
