31 will go to Melbourne so will have 34, 49 and 50.
Some late picks to come in for Young and Lobbe.

anything less than a G/F appearance in 2018 will have to deem the season a failure

We failed to beat a top 8 side in 2017, copped a first round finals exit for our inconsistencies, and 2 inconsistent performers coupled with an AA mid is all of a sudden going to catapult us to Grand Finalist?

1. They brought in a bloke from Brisbane who was a cancer at that football club, who wanted out at any opportunity that is not going to change when things don't go his way at Alberton.
2. They have brought in another bloke who continually butchers the ball
(He would be right at home with the rest of the low skill players at Alberton who can't get the job done)
Has only played two good games in 2 years and folds most of the time under pressure.
3. Looking at a third bloke who is so overrated as a player and goes missing on the field more often than not.
Great recruiting by the Power

Re: Port Adelaide 2017
Versatile big man Jack Watts is the third player to join Port Adelaide this post-season, moving from Melbourne in exchange for pick 31 in this year’s National Draft.
The 26-year-old forward says he’s determined to get the best out of himself at Alberton.
“From a club perspective there’s a lot to be optimistic about,” Watts said.
“Port Adelaide finished just outside the top four last year, have some really promising young players who are getting some experience under their belts and they’ve added two great footballers already to their list in Tom Rockliff and Steven Motlop.
“Personally, I can’t wait for pre-season to begin so I can start working with the likes of Charlie Dixon, Robbie Gray, Travis Boak and Chad Wingard.”
Port Adelaide List Manager Jason Cripps says Watts will be a valuable addition to the Power’s forward half.
“He has great skills, particularly by foot which we feel is an area where we can improve as a team,” Cripps said.
“He’s a good athlete too and an experienced player so we’re confident he’ll make our team better.”
Watts was chosen by Melbourne with pick no.1 in the 2008 National Draft. He’s played 153 games and kicked 143 goals across nine seasons with the Demons.

Watts will be a good player ............. in the SANFL.
Surely not even the most optimistic Power supporter thinks he will make a difference?

I was hoping Geelong would get him. I have a feeling he could have a blinder
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Might be just finding his best position and leaving him there.
Melbourne have had him all over the place, front, mid, back and he's never been the player they thought he would.
Welcome, Jack.

Just think they wanted him out of there. Been rumours of a massive bust up with Goodwin for awhile.

Seems so laid back and wouldn’t think he would have it in him to have a bust up with anyone

Apparently told Goodwin to GAGF awhile back after he was late to training a couple of times

No secret that, Melbourne had to fit Lever in and Port's cap is stretched, the perfect match.
