I just want to give a shout-out to the Eyre Royals B Grade.
They're a top bunch of blokes, and our game was played in the right spirit.

Fair start for NEK in PDCA. Bucky still kicking along?
He's hoping to play a few games when needed, but his lad is playing District cricket.

Craigmore off to a flyer, Mitch McIver, opens the bat and bowling, the kid gets his ball fee's worth, can play. The Blues are full of kids. Justin Carman amongst it straight away with 9 wickets in Grade 1. Great to see Jonathon Pogas ton up, one of my favourite opponents to have a post match beer with. Great to see the rivalry between Salisbury West and Virginia is alive and well with 9 runs separating the two in the season opener. Woody on his way to a 60 wicket season and a Robert Graham Memorial Medal with an 11 wicket round first up haul against one of the 3 sides in Grade 2. Good to see ATCO aren't ready to be chucked on the scrap heap just yet, no Sutton's and went down by only 16 runs to the Adelaide Warriors.
The SW v VIR obviously went down to the wire, but must've been a huge last session from Westies - seemed like Virginia were in control most the day, and Westies grassed a few opportunities that I saw. JD must've had a big 2nd spell to knock over the Rams.
Are Riverside in strife this year? Beaten pretty comfortably by Craigmore in Grade 1, and belted out right by Eyre Royals in Grade 3.. or is that more indication of how strong their opposition was (Craigmore/ER)?
North Eastern Knights began their venture into PDCA in style with an outright win in Grade 2 and a thrilling 5 run win in Grade 4.

HOT OFF THE PRESS Please be advised that the Senior Program will be updated over the next 24hrs. LO 1 has already been updated with Eastern Park filling the Bye. Grade 8 will have two extra teams North Pines and Angle Vale. Parafield Gardens are moving from Grade 4 to Grade 3. Enfield will move from Grade 4 to Grade 5. Grade 4 & 5 will have a crossover Bye. Someone from Grade 3 will have to go to Grade 4. All changes will have to be made manually. If you notice something you think is not right, please let me know.
Regards, Peter
