I laugh at Motlop but funnily enough I wouldn't mind him as direct replacement for Cameron. Offers the same role. But does not make the side stronger! Just covers for what we already had, a low possession getting game breaker when on.

So Motlop and Watts doesn't sound better than Amon and Neade?

I'll be interested in your response.

I'd rather Neade and Amon on their contracts over Watts.

He's been in the system a long time and still hasn't weeded out "those moments" from his game. He is the sort of player that doesn't garner his team mates respect.

Do not want. Unless it ultra cheap

Yeah better, Fair bit stronger is a stretch with two players proven to be downhill skiiers.
In saying that, I would like Motlop as a direct replacement to Cameron

Cripes, so you'd take "a little stronger" but can't cop "fair bit stronger".

We're into the nitty gritty on SA Footy, folks. :D

Hodge says he decided to leave Hawthorn but continue playing on as it was best for Hawthorn.

"If I played another year I'd be stopping the development of a younger player"

What's he doing in Brisbane FFS?

At this rate Brisbane may have to forfeit round 1 next season, he won't be taking anyone's spot when they only have 22 on their list.

brisbane are in a different stage of development though. having experienced heads around an extremely young group can be beneficial (GWS have done this successfully in the past)

I disagree, there is something horribly wrong up there, no one wants to stay and they've been languishing for a very long time.

They will have 4 A graders next season (including Hodge), not many B graders and a heap that are way off the mark.

I've always had a soft spot for Brisbane and I'd love to see them being competitive once again but I can't see it happening in the next 5 years.

They have been ok with retention the past couple of years, before that it was terrible. Plenty of their youngsters have re-signed with the club over the past 6 months

Schache = soft. Just watch him play. Look up mummas boy in the dictioary and there is a picture of him
