Good point, could of been a case of looking beyond "one week at a time" and played a smaller type, for the match fitness, against Geelong with the probability of Richmond in mind.

Not so sure...they played Hartigan on Danger so you'd expect him to go to Dusty when he goes forward. Not that I agree with the match up... Lever is used as the 3rd man up to spoil Talia takes Riewoldt.

I think they all play.
If anyone drops out it will be Otten. Crows have it in the bag, say to Lever sign on or you're out this week.
No coin toss, Crows will wear their home kit. Richmond will wear their clash strip. I'm going to pump my money on the Crows, every team in blue shorts has won finals easily this year.

The MRP wont suspend either Cotchin or Ellis. They'll find some loophole to get them off.
If you can read the minds of the MRP you're a genius.
This is where its a joke, if it was round 10 he would get a fine but because it's the week of a Grand Final he gets off. Just another example of the AFL cganging rules to suit the masses.

No one deserves to miss a gf for either incident, especially the Cotchin one
If you based the GF on the way the two clubs played in their prelim, then I'd say the Crows win easily, but footy doesn't work like that. If the Crows get off the leash at any stage, then they probably win. The Tiges need to re-capture the manic pressure they delivered in their Semi, and any rain helps them I reckon.

What Cotchin, unfortunately, deserves a fine. The AFL brought in rules to protect the head, Shiel was not able to play the game out due to concussion as a result of the bump. If he hadn't stupidly punched blokes earlier in the year then this would be a mute point but that's not the case. He by no means should get a week for the incident if there were no priors but again that's not the case. It has the possibility of opening some cans of worms in the future
If either Cotchin or Sloane were to be suspended which I hope either aren't, then double or triple it and make them serve it next year. No one deserves to miss a GF for those minor indiscretions.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
Didn't shiels go off the ground for his shoulder after the Cotchin hit? Went back on and played another quarter than got hit by another Richmond player and that ended his game???
Shiels played on after the Cotchin hit, so therefore Cotchin should be let off

I don’t think cotchin should be suspended, but if he does, he has no one to blame but himself for doing stupid shit earlier in the year.
If anyone thinks Sloane has a case to answer they are either trolling or deadset cooked
I think both should get off but Sloanes is clearly worse than Cotchins. Cotchin just goes for the ball where Sloane hit Dangerfield after thr ball was gone and he was going for the player. Once again, both should get off.
