Penfield have not completely folded as such, just not fielding any teams this season but still operating as a club in administrative terms with every possibility of being able to field teams in the future. Any further questions feel free to ask. Slowly getting very keen for cricket as footy gets to the pointy end.
How many of the lads are going to Willaston, Frank?
None that I know of. I was surprised to see the talk of ties between Willaston and Penfield, but I know that a few players have gone there in previous years, most notably Max Bornholdt who I think is captain/coach out there
Will anyone be playing on the main deck at Argana Park this year if Penfield aren't using it?
There is talk that it will be used by some clubs who haven't got enough turf pitches of their own. Council is keen to have the pitch remain, from my understanding.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

From what I understand it is a non-negotiable to remove the turf square, as from Playford council's point of view it is a valuable asset due to it being the only turf square in the whole council area. They will lease it out and Steve Hill may still be curating it for whenever necessary

Jarrad has committed to Ingle Farm I believe but stranger things have happened. Not sure if Jordan is even playing as he is injury prone but I've heard he has the itch. And yes have also heard Anderson back at GG

I doubt whether Steve will do it for nothing, I reckon his lad does most of the mid-week upkeep and Steve gets out there Saturday morning to prepare it for match day.

Nothing this early. Wouldn't expect anything like that until a fortnight out. Better off asking on here about teams and hope you get some info.
Probably pretty safe to assume that Pooraka will be good in the A1s again. Picking up Marks from Northerns should see them go from strength to strength.
Just food for thought, is it time for the ATCA to start going down the SAAFL (Adelaide Footy League) pathway in regards to Social Media. I understand SAAFL have a lot more staff and are a much bigger organisation but wouldn't it be great for the ATCA to have a Facebook Page where clubs are invited to email photos into Head Office etc and scores from around the competition can be posted and people can celebrate achievements. I know many supporters live off their MyCricket App but it could be a way of growing the ATCA brand especially with some clubs struggling for players..........

What is Pooraka's A2 likely to look like? Are all of the older guys from their A3 premiership side committed to playing A2 this year?

Not worried are you?
Ingle Farm should start almost unbackable favs in A2 given their recruiting.

Shaun "Greg Norman" Holland was telling me last week he is off to Pooraka to play A2 for them, there is a extra 17 runs and 4 wickets for the year for them.

I've heard that they've lost a few of the older guys from their A3 premiership side. Will be interesting to see how they go, have heard whispers that they've recruited players specifically for the A2 team.
