Would it be pessimistic of me to predict bugger all?

This pitch is hardly a raging turner. We should be able to bat for two days and post a decent first innings lead. Smith will ton up.

A very subdued Warner on display. Concentrating very hard in very a trying conditions. Chairs and Shade for drinks. Good idea.

On the money.

Warner 69 not out
Handscomb 51 not out

Nice to come home from footy and see these two plodding along nicely. Handscomb needed to contribute after a bit of a lull.

DK.

He is batting beautifully. Warner concentrating as well as ever. Have we finally learnt something about the pitches?

No
It's just a flatter and more batsman friendly pitch

A big windy woof from The Toad only saved by a Wadesque effort by the Bangladeshi keeper.

Correct weight, this pitch is a flat as a Kelly Underwood commentary stint.
