Yep I thought Tippett showed some really good signs against the Crows, if he can stay fit and string some games together, he still offers a fair bit.

With Franklin and Reid plonked up front and Sinclair and Tippett rotating through he ruck / D50 when needed / forward half they've got just about the best big man set up in the game. Sunny day on the G, that'll be hard to stop.

Reid also goes loose in defence too, has done that the last couple of weeks. Works well, especially last Friday night

Until you win a flag with Bud, the only thing that the investment will be worth something to is him.

He can't win a flag himself. He's been good in our biggest games.

On the free market, he'd command $1m per year right? still worth his contract IMO as it stands today. The back end when he is later in his 30's will be when it will hit you

As most clubs do, they have a slogan or a catchphrase going into the finals or start of the season... The swans for this finals is "Defy the odds" mainly because of our 0-6 start I would assume.
Any way since this is a swans page I thought I'd share the videos they are putting up of wins or players who apparently have done said slogan.

"Cometh the moment, cometh the champion"

"Fellas, it’s OK to be in pain. It’s OK to hurt. It’s OK to be sad. It’s no longer OK to suffer in silence."

It's in the swans thread because the swans are playing.
