The menu looks good! Will remember that for next time!
I love 'Food and Stuff'. It's where I buy all of my food. And most of my stuff.

I would say go for the best and go to the Hill of Grace at Adelaide Oval but Saturday nights are probably booked out well in advance.
Chloes is a good second choice.

Haven't been there since about 2009, but I recall that the food, service, and setting was very good.

Croydon Social with the missus last night.

Ordered two small plates to start;

Haloumi with Zucchini, Grains, Preserved Lemon and Herbs

Roasted Chorizo with Muhammara

Both very tasty. Very thin and crispy slices of Haloumi which is different to most places offering it. Was very good though.

Then mains to share.

Their special for the night "Brussels Sprout and 4 cheese" pizza

Baked Mushroom Ragu with Taleggio Gnocchi.

Both were sensational. Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in Adelaide. Base was incredible and the flavours were perfect. The four cheeses weren't nauseating or overwhelming and the sprouts were something different for a pizza but worked so well.

Baked Gnocchi was really well done too. Mushroom to gnocchi ratio was very good. Usually don't get anywhere near as many fungi on that sort of dish as they served up last night. And they were awesome.

Few glasses of wine as well.

Around $100 for the lot.

Very, very good. Definitely recommend.

Angkor at Woodville last night, fed 4 adults and 2 children and had enough left to do it all again. Cost about $100 and the food was awesome as ever.

Tried the chili beef stir-fry for the first time - Think it's probably the hottest meal I've ever eaten, but was still great. Highly recommend this place.

Anyone know of any pubs in Southern suburbs (inner or outer) that serve lunch on Xmas Day?

I know the former poster known as Borat has enjoyed the Xmas day fare of the Espy at Brighton in the past
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Really good. One of the best burgers in the city.

I've got a work show next Friday at the Escape Rooms and was about to ask the same question for Spaghetti Western Saloon on King William St (just down from Jack Ruby).

Ying Chow.

Missus is Vegetarian, so with reasoning exclusively related to getting my doodle touched later in the evening, I came up with the idea of Ying Chow for a vegetarian feast.
Great idea me!!

Food is also sensational as always from there.

Shallot Pancakes
Salt and Pepper Tofu
BBC
Veggie Fried Rice

Best salt and pepper tofu in Adelaide imo. And the BBC is ridiculously good.

All that for under $50. Can't go wrong.
