Hmmm Port going shorter rather than taller... i'd like Morell's opinion on this!

Hopefully Port fans now realise Trengove isn't playing defence each week because Bassett doesn't want him in defence.

Can't say Ports defence hasn't improved without him looking at the stats.

Trengove is slow clumsy and gets caught ball watching. About as useful as a three legged dog.

Jacko's spot is an interesting one, as a forward Big Bill is a better prospect now and long term, he isn't needed in the ruck to the 2016 extent, and there TJ, TC and Hombsch are better down back than he is. Jack of all trades but master of none

No Grundy for Collingwood so Cox will have to ruck, probably Moore do the chop out. I think Ryder will have SWARM on his mind all weekend knowing he'll have Cox as his opposition for most of the day.

We'll play Howard and Dixon forward on Dunn and Goldsack, they'll have Moore and Reid forward with Clurey and Jonas following them.

Biggest out for them is Wells, they rarely win without him. We'll also give Powell-Pepper a break, certain of it.

Hey fam, sorry for the delay!

As predicted with the Round 20 coaches votes in, Sam Jacobs moves into the #1 spot in our beloved SWARM

The extended bench is "

Powell-Pepper, White, Amon, Neade, Johnson, Bonner, Ah Chee with 3 to be omitted.

The three highlighted are my "guess". Bonner to play this week.

You must be walking around with a stiffy this morning Morrell with Dougal in for JT. Surprised Ken did it! Happy, but surprised

Worth letting him go as a free agent? Carlton and Richmond apparently interested?
Might get a late 2nd round pick compo?
Pittard is another interesting one who has been in and out of the side all year.

Trengove, in '14 and '15 took the high key forward, Carlile the deep key forward as Booby's arse wouldn't let him cover the ground Trengove did. In '16 when Jacko led the ruck we had Austin in defence for the first dozen or so games before a bad ankle kept him out the side, that gave Clurey his chance to play on the oppositions tallest forward, he's taken that role and run with it to make it his own. I think the back half looked settled at the end of last year with Clurey, Hombsch and Jonas and that gave Hinkley food for thought on where to use Trengove as the back up ruckman and then......he arrived at second tall forward.

Fair to say that Trengove's form has dropped off as he's been played out of position, he's not a natural forward who reads the play and it would be poor form to drop either Clurey or Hombsch to make way for Trengove in defence. It's only that Collingwood don't have a tall forward line that Trengove goes out this week after being dropped, with Hombsch out injured against any other side Trengove would be in the key defensive post this weekend, again.

I'm very loyal ( perhaps too much so ) and I'd be disappointed to see Trengove leave and it was the signatures of Trengove and Boak that kept this side from falling apart in '12 / '13, they both showed real loyalty to the club and to see Trengove go would be hard to swallow. Having said that, with Clurey (23), Hombsch (24) and Jonas (26) holding down spots, Austin (22) in the SANFL as a key defender, Howard (21) perhaps capable of playing both ends as a tall ( he's been CHB for the Magpies recently ) it might be time to move Trengove on and make some cap space as well as making room for another young tall to be drafted and develop. Not many would know Trengove has been one of our highest paid with his current contract back ended and in the top end of our pay packets.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Would be happy to lose both of them for the right price.

Nice, there's 13 teams below us on the ladder, care to tell us their average weight? It's just as relevant.

#SoftDraw

Its only relevant for us and our results. We looked our best when we were at our tallest for the year.

So does that mean your other 7 wins have been with a below average height? Smashed some ripper teams in that lot above.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.
