Most VIC clubs are, and rightly so. No real consistent talk out of the Melbourne media though, it's Melbourne one week, Collingwood the next and then the Dogs. Now today i've read he's met with Melbourne officials and he will request a trade to Collingwood haha
He has a very good friendship with Woosha and still speaks to him regularly and he is very keen to get him to Essendon. Really rate him but just don't think he is anywhere near the top of our priorities
I think both are gone but plenty of top class players yet to sign (Martin, Rockliff etc). Their manager has been away on holiday since the CBA has been increased so the next 2 weeks I think are significant
Not sure what Melbourne has to trade to us for Lever, maybe Bernie Vince

And his dad is best mates with McCartney from WB, and Lever is good mates with Goodwin at Melb I am told ...

SEN reporting that's he'll tell the Crows he wants to go to Collingwood
Same station that reported him going to Melbourne this morning don't get me wrong, I think he is gone, but the want to be first with the news over there means they throw every rumour on air

At some stage every Victorian club has been mentioned as his destination

Plenty of my Crow mates reckon they should have taken Brisbane's picks, let Jenkins walk and kept the coin for the two currently in negotiations.
Hindsight
No. It's called foresight.
Only if they said it before the Jenkins deal was done
I was talking about the Crows' list management team and it's lack thereof. Crystal-ballin' is pretty hard in this industry, to be fair. Hard to accurately predict how quickly players are going to come along, or in Jenkins' case, how disposable he would become.

I was talking about Booneys mates saying what the crows should have done a year after the Jenkins deal was done, which is hindsight & about as usefull as tits on a bull.
Going by current stats Jenkins is tracking almost identical to - 2016 Goals AV 2.5, Disp AV 12, Mk 5, Tackles 2. 2017 Goals AV 2.2, Disp AV 13, Mk5, Tackles 3.
this was 2016 in total he played 24 and so far only 14 this season with possibly 7-8 more games his season may end up similar.
I seriously thought his output was a lot worse.

reckon he has been a bit more inconsistent this year. Had some very good and very poor games. Or even within the same game, like on the weekend.
Cant understand the flak he cops though. He is very good and would walk into most teams. Makes a massive difference to McGovern and Lynch too

I assume you do the same laughing face at Charlie Dixon then?

I think that is what needs to be considered when assessing his value/role in the team

I was actually laughing at benny, his own comments regarding how poor Jenkins can be from one week to the next and even one quarter to the next is exactly why the 200cm/100kg bloke cops flack.

*Insert a pointless link here*
PS - There's 18 clubs in the competition.
Hardly a pointless link...
PS - I know how much you Port blokes love your stats
Well, it is a pointless link unless you compare him to every key forward in the competition and not one bloke from Port because a Port supporter dared question JJ's worth.

Not at all pointless, you questioned JJ's worth on a salary of $550 - $600k. I picked a player from your side in the same position, similar salary and nearly identical career stats to use as a comparison.
