They'll be up in div 2 next year while your mob will still be playing teams like Lonsdale and marion

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 3 - 2017
Something interesting in our game v plympton yesterday. The home team had a shot after the siren at the end of every single quarter. Thats one hell of a coincidence or some creative time keeping. It definitely didn't impact the result and yes we could have had someone in there with them but thought it was worth a mention.

Very interesting WOS. In Round 7 at Plympton we had the siren blow in an earlier quarter as our player was running into an open goal from 5 metres out. Siren went as the ball left his hand but before it hit the boot. Scores were tied late in game and a Plympton player marks about 30 metres out. Siren sounds before he took the kick which at the time seemed to be a short qtr. goal was scored so they win by 6 points. We did have a timekeeper with the Plympton bloke and I can't recall any dramas about timekeeping irregularities but it is still "very interesting".

So basically you've raised an issue that is a non-issue am I correct? I think that's "very interesting" in itself...

If I knew how to upload videos I have a 'very interesting' one of Brightons timekeepers ability to keep correct time. More than happy to post if it puts any doubt to bed, just need help in doing so.

Honestly, if these complaints are legitimate take them to the League through the appropriate channels.
I hate it when this place appoints itself as judge/jury/executioner, particularly when it regards the integrity of volunteers

Still surprised when away teams don't sit with the home time keeper. In Country leagues I'm sure it's mandatory, maybe it should be in the saafl

If you don't want to have someone do it, live with the consequences in my view. Simple as that

Exactly, the league itself should make it mandatory, very surprised this loop hole is still open.

Preview of Grand Final tomorrow, two top teams play, Brighton vs Flinders Park.
Should be good game, FP get their chance to win playing at home, or Brighton just way better than any other team in the comp?

Wow, Brighton!! Hand them the trophy now??
Think their only danger is Golden Grove, they did not beat them by much and they play tough footy which could bother Brighton.
