Rockliff for all his ball-finding ability isn't quick and questionable defensive workrate, not sure he's the answer for the Crows. If McGovern is going they're probably better to take a crack at Lachie Neale

The relative worth of Neale and McGovern is interesting. Neale is a better player but players that mark like McGovern are as rare as hens teeth.

So who has to sweeten that deal to get it done?
Neale only re-signed last year for another 3 or 4 years didn't he?

But if they want McGovern they will need to part with something.
John Ralph mentioned they other day we offered McGovern in the Gibbs trade but he said no. Don't know how much truth in that there is though

We should be in a decent bargaining position should he want to leave though. McGovern had links to both WA teams who are both screaming out for a player like him and should have cap space to do it.

Good question.
Might depend how low Freo end up finishing .. If they have say 3rd or 4th picks in the drafts, they might be able to grab him in the PSD .. Crow might be better offering him to WC if he prefer's hooking up with his brother?

No one uses the PSD as a threat anymore. Freo or West Coasts first round pick and maybe a second will get it done
