I'd be on the phone to Collingwood, Richmond etc. all the clubs in need of a tall forward almost every day shopping Jenkins to them.

It's not a popular signing among the Crowies, is it?

I wasn't against it at the time.

But the emergence of these two and the potential salary cap squeeze. I'd be all for dumping Jenkins salary now.

Neale is a gun but if we were going to trade McGovern to freo I reckon he is worth more to them than Neale is

Premierships are built on defence, it's not a saying that any of us would be unfamiliar with.

Jenkins and Walker locked in to long term deals.

Balance suggests Lever would be kept ahead of McGovern.

If he goes home he won't be standing his brother in a Derby, he'll be marking it when his brother kicks it to him.

Crows have a bit of cap room don't they?
Thought they were one of only 3 clubs who put no provisos in players contracts for the new pay deal

AFL are slowly taking more and more things from American sports, should take another and make player contracts public.

A mid-season draft wont be too far away.

Teams should definitely be able to trade and sign players not in the league during the season.

Players also shouldn't have any say in trades so clubs can do whatever the **** they want and not need a player to agree to it.

Would help teams like the crows, now. Be able to clear cap space during the season to sign Lever and McGovern.

Great to see Thommo back i no his the wrong side of 30 but u no what u get from one of the all time greats of our club. For me i would have got seedsman in the side too i think he is a very good player he breaks line's and has a great kick, IMO should be in the side before Mackay. She will be a slog out there tonight

Thompson in is a step backwards, can't be seen as anything but.

Big bodied contested ball winner in close. The prototype for tonight's conditions. Age goes against him and where he is at in his career, but you don't not select a bloke because it's his last year. Not sure who else could fill the role that's on the list and ready.

Wet or dry it's a contested ball game, ovals drain so well it's not going to be a bog, see how he goes when you lot don't have the ball, Greenwood, step backwards without question.

I cant see your reasoning for calling a step backwards Boon personally. I know his ability to run defensively you/others question, but as far as winning his own footy, getting it going our way and replacing a kid who plays inside mid @60% game time, I see him as a perfect experienced replacement (exactly why he is on the list).

My issue at selection is Otten over Doedee, I cant see Ottens match up and can see that being exposed rather than Thomo.
