Crows would have been better off if they'd held on to Ben Hart and gave Roo the flick, might have been the difference between playing in finals or not. Personally Im glad they stuffed up though as Ben's been great for North. :D

Oh no.I am dreading where this will end up.This could be horrid.

Face masks in the paper maybe?
Colour Roo poster in the paper?
Send you message to Roo in the paper like they do on valentines day?
Maybe a Roo float in the pagent or jolly ol' St. Nick getting the arse for a year?
The Northern Stand at Footy Park changing name maybe?

LMAO

You can just see it all happening can't you

Not taking anything away from him by the way. Great player but just wait for the overkill and it will only get worse if by some miracle the Crows make the finals and he plays one more game.

Yeah Rod.........I bet the new Governor bloody glad it was announced today and not 3 weeks ago.If Bickley ended up Chairman of SA Great after being a car body sprayer and a dime a dozen player at best ( lets not forget father of the year in SA) then Roo might be White House bound I would think.

Champion on and off the field

I haver to admit, from the moment Roo played his first game, his hardness at the contest was amazing for such a young lad, great career, all the best

There is no way Riccutio is SA best player ever. That statement is just incredibly stupid and someone like Graham Cornes should have more sense than that.

OK then. Fair enough. I still don't really think his name would come into serious discussion for that title though. He has certainly been a great player and his record speaks for itself but there are guys playing now that are better than Riccutio they just don't happen to be playing for the Crows. Doesn't make them any less South Australian.

It's mostly non-Crows supporters going on about it, seems to me. Trying to work out how 'great' he was, complaining about media coverage, etc. Most Crows supporters have been happy to make their one comment and leave it.

i agree, i suppose if a big player at the club you support retires i suppose you have a right to have your say. hondo71 you are probably right about non-crows supporters going on about it but some times it gets annoying with the papers, this will go on for weeks to come....

Would be the same in WA when Cousins retires

I think it's just life these days - can get a bit much being in WA or SA and not supporting the local teams but what are you gonna do? Not worth losing sleep over

its also that Adelaide and West Coast were the first clubs in sa and wa and have a larger supporter base and thats why they get more attention when things happen at the club, its obviously going to happen
