As I said, "and others", there's 3 senior coaches right now who were interviewed for the Geelong job, one of them got the job. Two current senior coaches were interviewed for the St Kilda job. One who was interviewed for both is still an assistant.

Seems reasonable for AFL clubs to put a committee together to identify a short list of candidates then interview those candidates, perhaps more than once, even though they're not actually in the running. Yeah, I can see that happening.

Of course he was short listed and interviewed......... but my understanding was he was less than impressive and hence was never really in the running with several other better candidates.
