With all dinkum teams having now opened their account we can consider the Pure Ladder (tm), with which we can compare the performance of all Real Teams against worthy competition.
Ladder after part B of round 5. Why was this labelled a single round with certain teams playing more than one game, rather than a split round, or two distinct rounds? Cynical answer: so the television broadcaster had an excuse to cover only one match over the two weeks. Got to love all the extra media exposure that the Clowns brought to the league.
I gotta ask mate....Why do you bother? Your like one of those sci-fans who losses his sh$t when their favourite show gets cancelled and they lobby and picket and do petitions....but it is what it is mate. Let it go. It's a ten team comp with Port and Crows Reserves.20 people under psodonyms bitching and moaning isn't going to do a thing to change it. I'm guessing you contribute to that hilarious 2,000 page no afl thread. Some funny stuff in there It's a serious question though, I'm not trying to be an a$$hole but why do you bother?

So, the more people that don't give a shit about the SANFL the better? Have I got that straight?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail 1915, 1919, 1926, 1932, 1940, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1976, 2002, 2016, 2017

No you haven't got that straight. You're so far off its comical. I love the SANFL and have my membership. I have just come to terms with the fact that with the evolution of AFL teams from SA the local league was bound to change from what it was in the 80's. I'm a glass half full kind of guy and accept it certainly isn't what it once was but it is still the best league in Australia outside the AFL. Legs and the Bays at the Parade tomorrow night. Is it Macca, Aish, Balme, Roberts and Taylor v Kernas, Freddie, Fidge, Marshall and Carey. No, because times change and you move with the times. That's my point. My initial question to Pseudo was its year 4 now why is he bothering with his "Pure Ladder". I'm not actually having a go I am curious as to his thoughts. Obviously a passionate bays man and curious as to whether he thinks maybe one day he will wake up and AFL reserves will be gone. It doesn't bother me at all that he does it. I have a coin collection, people think that's a waste of time. each to their own.

A) Some changes are more tolerable than others. We accepted that the AFL was top dog, we accepted that we lose our best players year in year out. We accepted that the AFL would therefore be the focus of footy media, and popular opinion thereafter.
B) Speaking for myself, I cannot accept the SANFL being turned into a practice league. It did not need to happen, and there are thousands who share my view.
No need to remind us of "A", this is about "B". If you can understand the difference between point "A" and point "B", you will be on the track to answering the question you asked "Why does Pseudo bother?"
Obviously we could expand on this, and there is a very long thread which does. You might find that thread comical ( as you did my suggestion that this is about giving a shit), but that thread is where you should go if you want to debate this topic. This thread is for people who want to look at results of real SANFL games, not practice matches. For that reason, I doubt Pseudo will pay any heed to your comment.
I am sure if you asked the question on that other thread you'd have a better chance of rousing him though.

I,ll politely declinie ever commenting on the other thread Wasn't looking for a debate, more curious as to is this thread his stance of non acceptance or does he do this because he thinks the SANFL is a chance to go back to 8 teams? As I said earlier unless a Reserves League miraculously appears, it's been 4 years so it is what it is.

The darkest hour is just before dawn. We will see.

...and to round 11. With the bottom 3 teams all winning and two of the top 3 engaged in scratch matches, the Pure Ladder (tm) tightens up somewhat. Central bottom last week, 3 percent clear of it this week thanks to Glenelg's capitulation...

Fair enough. I'll check back in 5 years time
Don't bother growler, Port and the Crows aren't included in this ladder and it's just not fair.
After being subjected to the scrutiny of the bullshit meter, a curious subtext is revealed in the preceding quote.
