Andrew Jarman's latest is that Dusty Martin is at the Crows next year. I just brushed this off as another one of the morons calls, Clarkson will coach the Crows etc etc

The thing I found hilarious was this morning was Mark Ricciuto saying that Andrew Jarman is righty 95% of the time =)) =)) =))

You hear this every year.

Than the crows fans do what they usually do when someone good leaves

Also reports that he was waiting till the CBA is finalised and has asked his manager to ramp up contract talks now

To me it doesn't sound like ramping up, more like commencing.
The vibe to me is off. Very worried about this one.

Can't see Dusty going anywhere, going to take $1.2m a year minimum to get him out of Richmond and potentially a couple of decent picks.
Rockliff as a FA is definitely a easier option although with his partner due to give birth in September they may be reluctant to pull up stumps and move from Brisbane

I feel this is where his deal is at. I mean jes not going to come out and say I'll stay no matter what, because then he looks like a flog if the crows cant spare the cash. On the other hand hes also not going to say, all good boys just waiting for the CBA to make sure I get all I can.

As opposed to every other out of contract player this year...

He's testing the market and testing the AFC's ability to go deep into finals. Adelaide's window is open now, it will creak and close slowly over the next 2-3 years as the keys get towards or over 30. Make no mistake, he's weighing up more than some coin.

there were talks last year about him coming to the crows before we turned out attention to Gibbs instead (and made a meal of it)

He is a restricted free agent, and the Lions would get a first rounder for him. So if he wanted to come to the crows, Brisbane aint gonna stand in his way.

He would help the midfield issues, he's a clearance player but I think his possessions aren't that damaging.

his possessions arent worth as much as when ablett or pendles gets it that often, but that doesnt mean he isnt a good player. He would still be a very good get and would help our midfield issues

Yeah, I don't think the ruffles too many feathers. I'd say he'd like to think he does, but he doesn't come across as someone sides would be looking around for.

Adelaide are rubbish. No way they win the flag this year. If they win it I will use an Adelaide Avatar for 12 months on safooty. Just won't happen.
