Mate what is the point of cheap drinks while on the company card.

I can have more of them and not raise the suspicion of the CFO!

I'm at the opposite end,whufc.
2 working days to redundancy after 42 years.
Going to be a strange mix of emotions I suspect.

We aren't by any means religious but every Sunday evening my fiance and the 4 kids that live with us all sit down to a roast that I cook on our spit, the most rewarding part of it is before we eat we all have to say something we are thankful for and all have to saying something that we appreciate that the person sitting next us does.
It's something small, something the kids came up but it's a great way to wind down the weekend and move into the new week, I love the fact that the kids acknowledge that nothing is for free or taken for granted.

It was awesome, my first attempt at one on the spit, will never roast one again, I can never get the same consistency all the way through but last night's was the best that any of us have ever had.

Gave it a few jabs of a marinade I had made up, may have made a difference, I've been nailing these spit roasts lately!

PS: I have never cooked a roast chicken.
