Mine is sort of opposite - our two 5yo girls who are only months apart love each other, are best friends but the ex hates it and fills the kids head with crap and says things really not needed. That's just pure horse shit!
He was a bit narky to begin with but after a couple of phone calls and him seeing how we operate as a family he has put the guns away, he just deals with me now with kid related issues as the missus and him can't help themselves but to throw in a sly dig.
Now all of us get along as good as you can ask without interfering with each other's lives, it's taken time and patience, could of turned to shit plenty of times but you just learn to not bite back.
