JJ and Suckling are 2 of the most over rated players in the comp let alone at the dogs. Oh JJ won a norm smith who gives a toss he didn't deserve it Boyd did and even if he did your basing your judgment on 1 game. Someone like a Tuohy is far better and half the price.

Picken for Normy for mine .. Spot on about Suckling, might help move the ball out of the back half quickly but an absolute liability when it comes to defending.

Buckley won it and they lost. It's best on the ground...

A player on the losing side will never win it again.

Probably correct. After Bucks' treatment of the medal by remembering it was in his footy bag on the first day of 2003 pre-season training, the AFL would prefer to see it around the neck of a premiership winning player.

My Friday Forecast :

- Jack Steven to have 40
- Eddie kicks a contender for Goal of the Year
- No jumper punches
- Saints to get a lot closer than most think....

How close to most people think? They've been given the plans on how to win against the Crows three times this year, lets see if they can follow it.

St Kilda been thumped by Sydney and the Bulldogs last two games.. reckon Adelaide will do a number on them tonight.

St Kilda grossly over rated in the summer ( as were Melbourne ) and they won't get within 45 points of Adelaide tonight.

Considering the last 3 games between these 2 sides have all been at Adelaide Oval with margins of 88, 46, and 79 to the home side - I would suggest most people would be thinking 8 goals+.

I'm not sure what the Crows can do tonight to come away with any sort of confidence.
Win by 80 and expected to win like that
Win by 20 and was a poor performance against a struggling side
Lose...well look out.

I would be happy with any margin win, as long as they show some toughness at the contest, and chase when STK have the ball. A contested mark every now and then from key forwards would also be great thanks.

Not sure why, he wasn't your worst last week. All the talk about body language, coming off the ground, piffle sticks.

12 touches, 8 marks ( 6 I50 ), 3 tackles, 2 I50, 3 goals 3. Not many key forwards would get that judged as a poor nights work.

Yeah agree with you about those stats last week, but he's not been doing enough this year in general. My concern is the silly frees against. I think he conceded three of them in the first quarter alone last week.

The criticism of Tex was that he didnt impose himself on the contests. Stats wise as Booney mentioned was ok. But he didnt do enough with and without the ball.
