Drove well, long irons acceptable, bladed 3 wedges over the back of greens, had 47 and left about 7 or 8 out there.
Not the greatest course, but when you're weekend is busy and you flick around in about 70 minutes with nobody around you at 9am Sunday, perfect!

ive always liked north haven. a somewhat interesting layout for a little 9 hole course.
not in the best condition but you get what you pay for, and its cheap. so cant complain

Looking at The Dunes, St Andrews Beach, Moonah Links, Portsea, Sorrento, Eagle Ridge, Rosebud.

Rosebud was ok, but Eagle Ridge was really nice when we played it.
We're heading back there in October to play 3 more courses, great part of Victoria.

Eagle Ridge advertising on the radio over here $48 round inc cart and a pie! Sounds like a good deal.

Managed to play with 2 of the more veteran members and what an absolute pleasure it was.
Now for the golf. In the practice nets with my 7i....it was going to be a long long day. Nothing felt at all natural.
I did get a tip on the practice green about how the greens all slope too....that helped. The greens felt slower....thank allah for that!!!!
Pretty much hybrid off every tee and felt quite nice. Putting was also very good....by my standards on the most part.
2 scrubs....the first just shouldnt have happened...third shot was just short of the green so had a chip up and bunker to clear. Ball settled with a bloody weed behind it so that just put the club off plane from takeaway and a blade across....
Second scrub on 17.....seriously shouldve had atleast 1 point....poor putting there.
Quite happy with 38pts...only to find all i won was a ball.....winner had 45. Second place 44...had an 80 off the stick...an 85yr old....
