SANFL Round 6
Norwood v Glenelg- Parade 7:20 Friday
Centrals v South- Elizabeth 2:10 Saturday
Port Power Reserves v Eagles- Alberton 2:10 Saturday
West v Ravens- Richmond 2:10 Saturday
North v Sturt- Prospect 2:40 Saturday
Should be a good round of footy. The Bays will be looking to bounce back on Friday night in front of hopefully a decent crowd. Can South extend their unbeaten run to 4 games at Elizabeth in the battle for the fabled Integrity Cup? Top of the table clash at Alberton, with the neighboring rivals doing battle. Will the Power Reserves front with 20 professionals once again? West will fancy their chances of breaking their drought against an ordinary Ravens' outfit. Important game at Prospect, both clubs need a win to keep in touch with 5th spot.

Actually a really tough round to tip, I could see each game going either way.
- Nord 11-20. Tigs have been good and will be filthy after what they described as their worst first quarter in years. Danger game for the Legs and must win between 4th and 5th. Looking forward to heading to the Parade on Friday night for a few Froths.
- Dogs 1-10. If Centrals don't win this their season will have more issues than Butchers kicking. They will find a way
- Port 11-20. Power have the bye so I'd expect them to be strong with a huge crowd at Alberton. Tipping an upset
- Adelaide 21-30. I'm still mystified that West won a Premiership 20 months ago. There would be some keen Crows Reserves players to impress after 2 losses at AFL level.
Sturt 11-20. If they can kick straight they could win by a lot more.
The Rams are Bucking Awesome in 2017....Don't hate us because you rate us!!!!

Norwood by 2 goals, only because it's at Norwood.
Central to win the Integrity Cup (tm) by 4 goals.
North on a hunch. Less than 6 points.

I am beginning to notice a trend in your previews PP.

WEST
West Adelaide’s ruck division has received a boost with the return of Daniel Webb for the game against Adelaide on Saturday.
The versatile bigman replaces Chol Majok in the centre square, with the latter squeezed out of the 23-man squad with Hugh Haysman.
Reliable defender Jack Agostino has overcome hamstring tightness while impressive teenager Izak Rankine is back after playing state basketball last weekend.
Utility Josh Stevens will be hoping to survive the cut from the extended interchange bench so he can make his Macca’s League debut.

Jenkins has been joined in the 23-man squad by key defenders Kyle Cheney and Alex Keath, who have recovered from injury.
Development players Kurt Waterman and Sam Tharaldsen have been added to the five-man extended interchange bench.
Troy Menzel played for the Crows’ AFL team last Saturday night while Hugh Greenwood and Jordan Gallucci could make their AFL debuts against Brisbane this weekend.

Beard reported concussion after a heavy hit from West’s Ben Klemke last Saturday and has been named on the extended interchange bench.

Will the Power reserves create mystery injuries to their 2 worst AFL listed players so that Summerton fits into the team?

How would you rate your AFL career if you were one of those 2 and forced out so Summerton can play?

If you're 19 and were drafted 6 months ago you haven't had an AFL career.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

Best team Westies have had on the park this year and maybe our best chance of a win. If only we knew how to kick a goal

That's right - on any AFL list there are probably a couple of players that aren't up to SANFL league standard when they are first drafted. I can recall Cam Ellis-Yolmen playing reserves for a long time for us whilst on the Crows list, and now he would be in their best 22 or pretty close to it. In most cases though, these players won't make it to the big time.
It does make a mockery of the finals rule which limits 17 AFL listed players - the intention of the rule was to "weaken" the team, but if you had this weekend's scenario in finals, I would say that if you took out the worst 5 from the 22 Power players available and added the best 4 top up players, it will be a stronger team.

INT: Lobbe, Irra, Snelling, Ladhams, Summerton
2 off these may drop out.

If there is a kid dominating the Magpies ressies but can;t get a league game sue to Power Reserves, does he have the option of transferring to another SANFL club? even after 30/6?

There's 8 or 9 players currently under contract but I'd expect usual transfer rules would apply for the rest.
