It will be the Suns, the Giants or the Lions. Anyone who the AFL bankrolls will be told to get on a plane.

But Koch said unequivocally that "wear their home guernsey and they won't be invited back"
Are you calling him a liar?
Suns have to be ruled out otherwise it's just another lie[emoji3]

I don't see the Suns going back anyway. Whilst Eade won't be coaching them next year, his negativity surrounding the trip rubbed off on his playing group. They didn't want to be there. I doubt they'll be interested in going to cop another hiding. They're a hollow, soulless franchise that really stands for nothing.

Made me laugh when Cochrane said : "Our jumper is as important to us as Collingwood or Essendons is to them"

I agree. They were beaten before leaving home. Made so many piss weak excuses and totally botched the travel arrangements. Should of embraced it as a once in a lifetime opportunity and gone hell bent on getting the win. Their attitude was appalling

They reportedly had only 4 business class tickets, no premium economy and went via Singapore where they sat on the tarmac for 2 hours in delay.

209cm Jarrod Witts sat in economy.

Can't blame them for delays in Singapore, that is one of the best hubs in Asia to transit from but there are dozens of weekly flights going to China and they should of taken a couple of flights if need be to ensure most if not all got business class. Seems like a last minute rush

To their defence they had to consider the imminent likelihood of armageddon.

Agree with this. It was almost like Roy Lairds pre eliminatiom final rant last year. It starts from the top and the negatively from Eade this time spreads through the team like a disease. Then the get out there and play like they dont want to be there.

I like to bag Port Power as much as the next bloke but also give credit where it's due.
The AFL told them in previous years they needed to think outside of their Alberton postcode, and they have done that albeit to the extreme.
The game was cost nuetral at worse, they attracted new sponsors, they belted the Gold Coast and they have lots of people talking about the game itself.

I say well done to the club and Kochie and his team.*

Port Adelaide, for the last 2 weeks, has been the talking point of the AFL world. The talking point.

Every show I watch ( on FTA - Talking Footy, Classified, Game Day etc - not TFS ) all spoke about it. In most cases Port barely rate a mention ( as with most non-Victorian clubs )

I get your point but the AFL world extends further than a couple of FTA footy shows. ;)

Get a Victorian club to go over and they'll eat it up. North and Hawthorn could sell one of their Tassie home games.

Either way you're selling a home game. Half a mil gotta be more than the AFL are giving you for a tassie game

Except for the bit where they are locked into a contract. North, Hawthorn, Melbourne, GWS and the Dogs are all locked into contracts which don't expire for a few years. The Saints are about to sign up to head back to NZ aswell.
Really only leaves the 2 Queensland teams

Wonder who they will get.
We were very keen to go this year but won't give up a home game and as it stands we currently are the most attended side in the comp and not in financial trouble so it won't be us.
I think last years game against them at AO got a massive audience in China though so wouldn't be surprised if we get asked. I'd hope we say no though
