Not too many go out and say, this side wont fold like a pack of cards, they're invincible, don't even bother trying lads.

True. They should perhaps be aware of when the tv cameras are on them as it could be used as motivation by the other team and count against them in future matches.

i can tell you for a fact that it (ginevers' comments etc) was a big part of this weeks preparation starting with the team meeting last monday night, with the boys wanting to get respect from an opponent that doesn't rate them especially in the physical department & that is why i thanked tim for the extra motivation (& a few on this site know this is true as i told them 'off air') lets face it cahill would never had said it with a camera & microphone around
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

No Jars did not say that in the finals loss to the eagles last year. He said it in the finals loss to the eagles in 2005. The one when Fegus Watts kicked 10 goals in at aami stadium when jars put a clearly unfit jason roe back on him for his last 4 or five goals.

His 3 quarter time address, televised on the teev included the following gems, admittedly north adelaide were coming back hard during the third quarter.
"This mob has got the wobbles. They don't know how to win finals games"

His channel 10 stint tonight he advised craigy not to play injured players. Have to laugh given his record of playing injured players in finals against us in the last two years, eg Roe & Koops

We at North are also bemused by continual playing of unfit players come finals?

LEH despite last years "lunar eclipse", the Eagles, like Glenelg are the last team who should be "skiting" about finals losses.... :D
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Funny I thought Centrals Eagles and Sturt were the most successful teams in finals this century , dont see Glenelg on that list yet.
But yes GF's can be a nightmare.

I dunno. In school footy (Pizza Hut Cup) we got Rostrevor (including B.Hart just after his Crows debut).

Mr Gregory said pretty much that...

We were so fired up we lost by only 35 goals...
