Would currently be in the mix for the AA spot. Gets plenty of the ball and is almost an extra mid. Very decent footballer but would cost the Earth in both $ and picks.

McGovern is in his 3rd year, if there's no trade made then he's not going anywhere.

He'd be mad to leave Adelaide for an extra $150-200k per year. Fremantle are miles off a premiership, if ever with the lack of culture they have and West Coast are there or thereabouts for the next few years while Adelaide are set for 3-5 years at the real pointy end. If he's clever he'll ride the next 3 years out with Adelaide, perhaps snag a flag or more ( please no ), turn 25 and head home then on a big deal to see him out.

In hindsight we dodged a bullet with Tippett. Played his best footy with the crows and allowed us to play Jenkins, who is a bit more flexible than Tippett, and also save some cash
