Alex Haren signed at Glenunga full time or is he at Sturt still and missed reserves selection? Very handy addition if he is full time

I forgot to ask on Saturday but Satchel or Mr Beefy, shouldn't you guys have been wearing clash jumpers on Saturday, I'm not sure if it just because I was crook and not seeing straight but I was having a bit of a hard time trying to distinguish between the two of us.

Are we even clashes in the book?

An oversight on our behalf, haven't had a clash for a while. Having said that, with my failing eyesight, I didn't have too many problems distinguishing the teams. None of our players said anything, although they should have as it they may have had an excuse for all the turnovers.

The red outlining around the Hope Valley numbers made it easier.

As i said, it was probably just me, i don't think i heard any of our blokes complain either so couldn't have been that bad.

Be coming to the point where he hasn't played in 24 months and therefore worth zero pretty soon I would have thought

Is it 2 full seasons out of the game or 24 months from your last game played Jo?

I thought it was always assessed as at the start of the season.
IE: When a player ticks over his 25th game for the club, he remains a "points player" for the rest of the season, and only goes to 0 at the start of the next season.
Applying the same logic, I would say Cornes was worth points as at 1 April 2017 and as such would remain a points player.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

Hopefully he takes his footy comeback a little more seriously than his career in the MFS. Would hate for him to lose interest after a week.

(d) If a player has not played football at any level for 24 months or more before resuming as a player he will automatically have a Player Points Rating of zero (0).

I take that as 24 months since played. However on the face of it this only applies to State League Players rather than AFL Players.

Also, are you sure about that 25th game for the club means zero points as of next season?

8.6.2 A registered player who achieves 25 Matches (without transferring) for the same Affiliated League Club will reduce one (1) additional point the following season after achieving 25 Matches..

This would seem to make much more sense? A bloke worth 5 points coming from AFL shouldn't become 0 rather than 3 after a couple of seasons.

Also, relevant to Kornes:

A player who has played a majority of matches in the AFL in the previous two playing seasons – five (5) additional points, less any deductions or concessions as set out below: -

Given he played a majority of AFL games in 2015 it seems he's worth the full 5.
