Is Travis head legitimate captain material? Is he actually a good captain? Makes some interesting decisions at times, and he bats with a degree of irresponsibility when he should be the leader in the batting lineup..

Where does this result leave us?

Leaves us third.
About half a point behind Queensland and 4 points behind NSW. Need to beat Tassie and then hope other results go our way

Batting out of his crease, dropped his bat when he tried to get back. Very unlucky, but very aware from Nevill.

Tell ya what almost looked like he had his hand on his bat before the ball hit the stumps.. might've been bit unlucky

Dont wanna be too harsh on Cooper BUT........

WTF ??????? Seriously? I've batted out of my crease for over 30 years and let thousands of balls go through to the keeper and have NEVER once been stumped off a pace bowler or ever dropped my bat turning around and gently placing my bat back behind the crease or just taking a step back.
Seriously just very hard to fathom how this shit happens? SERIOUSLY !!!!!!!

Any changes for the next game?

I see Joe Mennie bowled for University on the weekend. Hope he comes in. Would take some pressure off Sayers.

Openers Weatherald and Raphael have both been struggling. Could be Smith or Dalton's opportunity though with one game to go perhaps they'll keep the same line up

Reckon they will replace Raphael with Dalton, got nothing to lose there.

Bit of a rumour that Sayers has some sort of injury, reason he did not bowl in 2nd innings last game. Would pave the way for Mennie to come in.

If not, which fast bowler gets left out, as Worrall bowled well, and Richo had great year. Play four quicks and leave Zampa out?

What's Richo's injury? Can't find what it is in any articles about it.

Haven't seen it either, wondering whether now that we really won't make the final it's almost a 'parting of the ways'?

Chris Hartley will retire at the end of the Sheffield Shield season. Currently has 562 dismissals to his name, the most in Shield cricket history.

Adam Voges will also retire from Sheffield Shield cricket at the end of the season. He'll continue to play for Middlesex this county season.

The most notable retirement of this season would be that of Xavier Doherty's.
