I used to visit friends in the Port area as a kid and ride my bike to Semaphore and Largs to swim.
I also packed chemicals for the ICI for 10 weeks one long vacation in my Uni days.
Any change has to be an improvement - and I'll say that to my old schoolmate who has been a long-term council member down there...

Someone complained that the Port was noisy on Saturday night due to the Fringe.

The fallout from the under 30's crowd was the best thing I've seen in a long time. A few people were kicked off the page the next day.

On that point, I felt sorry for the graduate staff who appeared in that ad - I'm not sure their job descriptions involve acting or recorded performances, made to do something they're not qualified for.

Couple that with what looks like the most boring government department in Canberra and I reckon that even if they shelled out for Sir Lawrence Oliver, Robert De Niro, Katherine Hepburn and Martin Scorsese they still couldn't find a way to make Finance look half interesting.
