Re: Ch9AFL Division 7 - 2017
Has anyone heard anymore about the Greenacres situation or is it safe to assume that the division will stay as is? How long will the league let it go before there is a decision or is it up to the club to come forward and say they won't fill the required sides?

I've heard that if they do pull out there will be a bye and no other team will come in

Re: Ch9AFL Division 7 - 2017
The question i would like to ask is why would a club not communicate with another club regarding its transfers? Story is one club has cleared 3 of the 10 or so that want to move to another club just down the road. Yet the club receiving the new players don't talk but will send the heavies down on Tuesday night to put the heat on the club that has declined the transfers. I think its better not to mention the clubs but they go by the initials Marion Football Club. Nice work in your first year back. If you cant talk to the established SAAFL club. After re-joining from leaving previously you would think you would follow the rules rather than use underbelly type tactics.

They haven't and the SAAFL club only has an obligation to clear 3 players to one club. Pretty simple really.

There is a 3 player limit as yankman said. Different circumstances can lead to over 3 being allowed but it requires both clubs agreeing to it.

It will get sorted, its pretty normal, no need for anyone to be sending heavies or getting their knickers in a knot.
Only feedback for Marion would be for their people to call our people instead of playing chinese whispers with players.
We're good blokes, we won't bite.

Unreal, I would have though if there were some issues with getting clearances for particular players a phone call would be made. I just cannot understand why people have to make it hard. Can't we all just get along?

Clubs aren't in the business of preventing blokes from playing football so a phone call and chat should be the first step in these situations

Hearing lots of good stuff coming out of Central United......good numbers on the track and some quality recruiting. Will certainly be around the mark....

Who have Central United picked up? Not much in the clearances. Anyone of note? Although they may have good numbers on the track their problem in the past was lack of "A" grade training - plenty of B's. Jarman a good get - should attract some.

Could also be that they've just had a few players lost to the wind recommit that don't require clearances as well.

Central United had a group of real young kids in 2014/15 that showed some real good signs of being very good long term players, The beauty of these lads were they are all Central United products they finished in the under 16's and went straight to seniors in 2014 I think it was, in that group there will be a couple of rippers I'd expect them this year to really show there worth.
Certainly top 5 for mine.

PAOC - $4.00
St Pauls OS - $8.00
Adelaide Lutheran - $9.00
Central United - $10.00
Adelaide Uni - $15.00
Flinders Uni - $20.00
Mitchell Park - $25.00
TTG - $40.00
North Pines - $80.00
Mitchell Park slipping out due to massive loss of depth. Central United wound in big time. Little bit of value for Para Hills since I am such a good bloke.

Little bit on QF Quinella on Para Hills v Central United, Mitchell Park to make the 5 and the rest of my account on Para Hills minor premiership and Premiers double.
We must have great minds, Morell.........
