I heard similar, though 2 different versions of the same story:
1) Finished the day 199*, so they "borrowed" a run off another player.
2) Got to 200*, however when checking the books, it only added up to 199*, so they "borrowed" a run off another player.

I wasn't there so don't know which one, if either, are true.

He finished the day thinking he was on 199*.
When scorers were checking scorebooks after stumps, they noticed scores didn't add up.
Bowling and the progressive scores added up to 315, batting added up to 314.
They recounted each of the batsmans scores and realised Hanson had actually finished on 200.

To be honest, could have got a decent player coach who could have won them some games for half the cash Sayers would have been on.

Exactly, I didn't think I'd ever see them languishing at the bottom of A2's.

In A2 there are now less than 9 points between 2nd (Scotch) and6th (Marion). Unley drop out of contention after losing to minor premiers ROCS. Which two will drop out this week. Early elimination final between Hectorville v Port Districts.

Well said MOTO. Port Districts are the most threatening in my eyes, when you put Paul Duffman in any side it changes things dramatically. did make a double ton a few years ago in a final. one to watch!

some ridiculous efforts over the weekend.
Hanson 200* - pooraka
L. Adcock batted 107 overs for 167* - fulham
Fox 9/36 + 3 fa - old scotch
C3 brahma lodge 8/460 / Sibbick 250rtno

would someone care to explain why sibbick is playing C3 cricket? his club are looking at relegation from A3 a bloke of his ability surely should be playing in that team?

If Port Districts don't beat Heccies they don't play finals. Pressure is on. Duffett is nowhere near the player that made a double hundred in a semi some years back

The bloke is getting on now. We all agree by far the best at the club still but when he plays a grade he can't do it like he use to and it's his choice. You only get 1 spell out of him now and by the 50-60 over mark he starts to struggle. It's not his job anyone to keep the a grade up it's on the players that are there now to get the job done which we can't do. There is a massive jump between the 2 grades. And he smashes it down there but when he comes up he makes nothing

Port Districts Possiblly could be down a player this week as well after being placed on report. This blokes record won't help his case. Will they lose points also for suspended player?

Port Districts? You must be mistaken. That will be interesting. They have already been docked 3 points for having a player suspended in round 1, so any further suspensions could result in further points being docked. That's the last thing you want when the competition is so close. I know of two other players in that team that have been suspended in the previous two seasons and they may have suspended matches hanging over their head.
