Pretty sure Matty Raymond is injured. Had a shoulder op in the summer. Not 100% sure when he'll be available. Wouldn't surprise me if Matty plays for us this year. Just hasn't been able to get a league game for the last 3 years. Won the reserves goal kicking from a forward pocket a couple of seasons ago. Ironically IF he is going to play for CBC it would be Jake Johansen who would push him down the pecking order.

Yep, they are in strife unfortunately. How many players do you need registered before the league looks at the two side feasibility factor ? Fair bit of late scrambling happening atm.
Looks like zedman and co have been very active on there recruiting, zedman I often amagine that we had the Clark brothers, I have to admit that I have imagined martinelo rucking with bellman too,lol

Chuck Chris James into they equation and things would be pretty scary around the ground. Smithfield would've been very dominant if those two played a lot more games together.

very tough..harder than 2016 for sure..we will be happy to just secure a finals spot and then see how it rolls..

Yeah, I always loved boundary throw ins with Mossy in the ruck, I'd stand 20 metres away at a certain angle looking disinterested and he'd bang it so I'd grab in on the full at full tilt running towards our goals, always got away with it early in a game.

You would be very disappointed if you don't play finals Zed with that squad
no doubt we are aiming to play finals as all should be mate..3 teams down from Div 4 and a good one up from Div 6 plus the current clubs like BOS CBC RFC and Glenunga means you just cant take anything for granted..the top 3 i see to beat at this stage are Kenilworth, Blackfriars and Pooraka in no order..

Yep it's Matty Raymond! Will dominate, massive get for CBC. Was always going to come back it was just a matter of time. He came runner up in our B&F as an 18 year old a few years ago then the following year headed out to the eagles to grab a couple of premierships.
