Ran into a good one guided by the Poon Train.
Will be close to saluting in a softer one.

FINALLY.... picked a winner or two - and even better, at odds. I'm back (temporarily!) Tivaci and Mubakkir! Nice.

I Love It is the top weight in the Magic Millions tomorrow in Hobart (R7) Will probably jump favourite ($3 or so), been waiting for it to run since a really competitive 7th over 1100m at Flemington in Sensis Stakes. Out to 1200m, Baster on board, seems to get the best out of it.

A good mates middle daughter has been working for Paula Trenwith since completing her TAFE/SACE early last year, she began riding track work about 3 months ago. She was approached by Leon McDonalds stable about a week ago and starts work with him in the coming days. Excellent news for her and hopefully some good oil for us!

Gotta be better than some of the Jolly mail that's been going around, which thankfully I missed out on. Specifically relating to Poon won't ride well due to having the flu and then rode a treble.... But I'm not a fan of the Poon train or whatever the fan club is

Think ROOMOOZ is flying under radar for Blue Diamond at $17, which I guess is easy to do when you've only had one start. Unfortunately WINNING RUPERT had to be retired after only finishing fourth in the Magic Millions Guineas and being found to have bone chips in it's knee. A shame as I definitely thought it was going to be a gun but I guess as a colt there's too much money involved in the breeding. Gutsy move by the owners to knock back the $3 million dollar offer for it after only it's second start

Josh Cartwright gets 18months.....That seems very light on. But would be enough for him to probably retire as a jock and focus on training

Should be good for 4th
150m out when it put in a run I thought it might get up, had a 4k collect running so got a bit excited for a second or two...typical of my horses, can win in the bush but at best can only place in the city.....13 years and still waiting for that Saturday win

Poon Train caused confusion and delay! It was not a useful engine at all!
