11:30 AM and QI has just started on the ABC ... and Carrie Fisher is a guest
It's a Christmas special. Fisher just flew out of the UK, did she not?
(edit) looks like that show was recorded in 2014. Spooky coincidence all the same.

I think she was just on the Graham Norton show when she was over there.
Very sad a lot of the voices & faces of my childhood have died this year.

That's horrific - apparently Zsa Zsa's son also died in a car accident on the same day as she died.

Re: Celebrity Casualties
Actor Miguel Ferrer has died aged 61 from cancer. I'll always remember him as Bob Morton from RoboCop.

Re: Celebrity Casualties
Sad news with the passing of legendary actor John Hurt who was 77.
He was great in The Elephant Man and Alien and I also really enjoyed his performances in V For Vendetta and the Hellboy movies.

All great roles but to my mind his most memorable role was Winston Smith in 1984. RIP.
