It's boring if we're up and winning. And it's tragic and depressing if we lose. Which one is it Healy??

This is bloody awesome to watch. A really talented young batsman who is really showing great potential and making lots of runs. I'd rather have Renshaw making runs and runs that seeing the Aussies get bowled out for under 200.

Massive call, really putting yourself out there for criticism with that one.

Reckon everyone else would prefer the Aussies get bowled out for under 200...

For a bloke with as much cricket knowledge as Healy he sounds like an amateurish pillock a lot of the time.

Stumps 3/365

Renshaw 167*

Hanscomb 40*

wonder if it has ever been done in Test cricket on day 1 that an opener scores 100 in the 1st session and his batting partner is over 150* at stumps

Was interesting to hear Michael Clarke mention during the commentary (i presume he would have some small inside knowledge) that the selectors were toying with the idea of replacing Renshaw for Shaun Marsh for the upcoming India tour and that they would be taking a more horses for courses approach.

I wonder if that is completely off the cards now.

Was mentioned on radio the word around cricket media traps was Marsh for Renshaw come India. I hope they stick with Renshaw but depends on the selectors faith in him to play spin bowling in Indian conditions which by the sounds of it is not great but give him a go i say.

Agree he has to be given a go and will only get better from experience.

Was good to see him sweeping a fair bit today, reminded me alot of what Hayden did on the sub continent so successfully.

On the radio this afternoon Chris Rogers was on a crusade for Shaun Marsh coming back into the side, replacing Renshaw. He was saying it's horses for courses and that a senior player who is a proven run getter in the subcontinent in Marsh comes straight back in. Renshaw was 80 odd not out at that point.

I like Bucky on the radio and respect the majority his calls. On this occasion I couldn't disagree more. I hope the selectors back Renshaw in when we go to India. If he struggles then replace him but they surely can't drop him now.

I agree with the rumours if Renshaw cant play spin replace him. I dont care who you are we have to pick the best 6 players of spin for the Indian tour, we will get day 5 pitches from day 1 for the entire tour and if we dont then the openers have to score quickly and take advantage of the hard new ball. Either way it doesnt suit Renshaw. Dont ask me who the 6 are though, at a pinch id pencil in S Marsh, Warner, Smith and Handscombe
Sweeping Shah on a Day 1 Sydney wicket is that far off an Indian wicket its not funny
