Thats not true, another 3 inches down the pitch and its not out because he is to far down, its a rule i believe. There is a certain distance from the stumps where it cant be given

Any word on that Days? It's not a thing. Dutchy is correct, but it would've been better given not out in the first instance IMHO. Had to be some doubt there. Particularly at the WACA. Got lucky with the review.
Would love to know how many times in the past 10 to 15 years, that we've gone from 0-100 (or similar), only to lose 3 or 4 wickets for 15, as the top/middle order collapses.
Our problem 20-25 years ago was chasing small totals for victory in our 2nd innings; these days its collapsing after a great start.

I have seen it on a DRS review, they didnt go through the rest of the review, it stopped when it was considered the batsman was too far down. I have looked in the MCC laws of cricket, that gives nothing and I cant find anything under the ICC playing conditions for the DRS but mind you I cant find anything on how DRS is meant to work either for the LBW's.

Steyn ruled out for the rest of the series with a fractured bone in his shoulder. That's really disappointed as seeing him bowl live was the number one reason why I wanted to go to the Adelaide test match.

Knew he was in trouble when I found out after day 1 of the SACA tour match that he wasn't going to bowl on Day 2.

Its out there somewhere near the danger zone indicators for the umpire which are 5ft from the crease then its a metre to the stumps so its getting close to 3m. Smith was very close to the danger zone indicators, 2-3 inches shy

That's a real Shame for SA and the rest of the series to be honest. I too was hoping to see him at the Adel test I was actually going to even watch a few overs this year! Lol
