My daughter is pretty much a straight A student that has a cheeky side and likes to crack jokes, she does obey rules though and wouldn't mention it to me if she was in the wrong, I've told her that she is not to give her phone to anyone without my permission and the school has to ring me if they intend on taking it from her, if it was to go missing I will do my block in as she is 13 and has to report to me wherever she is going and provide times of her movements, it is our saviour, I stress out if I can't contact her outside of school hours.

Primary or high school LM?

High school, I know it's a problem with teenagers of today but she knows she'd be in more trouble with me if she was not complying with the rules, to insist that she go into her bag to give them her phone and it being on silent and no missed calls should be sufficient enough for them not to confiscate it.

I would agree with that.

I'd be organising a meeting with the Principal highlighting those key facts

I've told her that it is the only option if it occurs again, it's the same teacher and they bullshitted to the principal the last time, I don't even touch my daughter's phone so there's no way I appreciate anyone else touching it.

What is the school's policy with regards to Mobile phones? Are they allowed on campus at all?

Although I haven't read the policy I know that they are permitted as some subjects they can use them in class for various school related things.

I would be visiting them if they were not permitted on campus, being a single parent, working full-time and relying on public transport the phone allows me to not stress of her whereabouts while I'm at work, she is 13 and looks more like 17 or 18 so it is a worry.

The school doesn't have lockers for the students either which doesn't help as they could be stored in these, not to mention what damage carrying around a 15kg bag around all day does.

Possible broken thumb/hand in the 1st qtr of our game on Saturday. Played through it. By the end of the game my hand was three times the size it normally is.

Yesterday, couldn't play the PS4.

Today, can't write without intense pain.

My house is an endless game of "play on words" LOL.

We sometimes can only say a sentence if it rhymes with the one previously said, like the Happy Gilmore/Shooter McGavin skit, it gets the kids thinking and being creative........................or it shuts them up for a while, either way it's a win.

Sounds like nothing has changed in the 16 years I've been going to Hindley.

Quietly sipping on $15 gins in hipster bars on Peel St, then you walk out onto Hindley and it's a ******* zombie apocalypse.

When they first opened the KFC, a 40 meter radius was just littered in trashy chicks, comatose on the footpath, covered in greasy bones and chicken skin.
