Lol, Mourihno. Maybe he should ask for the club to spend some more money.

Geezus, Spurs are the only undefeated team and have dropped down to 5th!
Only one point separating first to fifth, a cracking season!

Definitely need to spend more money. He inherited a heap of guys from the old regime that need to be flicked at the end of the season. The club is going nowhere when Rooney, Fellaini and Carrick are gifted games

Add Smalling to that list.

Yeah he will never be elite but that was one of his worst games I've seen him play for United. Usually he is half reliable lol

Mourinho needs to release the shackles.

Last couple seasons it seems his fear of losing games far outweighs his hunger to win them.

Parking the bus won't win the league no matter how much money you spend anymore.

...and this is one of the reasons the EPL is, in my opinion, stuffed...

ManUtd ( and others) have spent the equivalent of some entire countries GDP in the past year and still need to spend more (apparently) to fix the issues... How about developing players? Nah that takes time... lets just through millions and millions of pounds at over priced players who don't actually fit the system, but it sells another 10 million shirts...

Corporate giants now not football clubs...

Rant over...

Some poor choices of players in the last few years. Pogba will be fine, had a poor pre season and came to the club unfit. As a Juve fan I've watched him very closely and his style will go well in the EPL he just has to work his arse off. Barring a miracle this season is close to being shot so we need to start clearing out the deadwood

I was thinking. Up until this year, if you added the money Utd paid for Di Maria to the entire amount Burnley had spent in their entire existence, it still wouldn't equal what Ut paid for pogba. (Or as my predictive text keeps trying to put 'pong about')

Mourinho is a money man, pure and simple. Most of his success is on the back of almost unlimited funds. He is the special one because he has special needs.

Didn't Pogba only have season stats of 7 goals and 9 assists last year? or a number around that? A lot of players have flopped in england who were decent in italy.

Don't be too impatient mate. There's plenty of time for both Spurs and Arsenal to bottle it and drop away ;)

Agreed. And vice versa. Different style, different mentality.

Incidentally, it was 14 degrees and mostly Sunny in Burnley on Saturday yet there were two Everton players wearing gloves FFS
The goal scorer, if he was number 14 was one.

He won the CL at Porto and Inter on very tight budgets but yes in England he has relied upon funds

And to take it a step further, his initial successes in England came when his club had unrivaled spending/buying power, which is no longer the case.
